At CoachGates.com, we are a service marketplace that facilitates meaningful connections between users and expert coaches across domains such as Health & Wellness, Professional Development, Personal Development, Relationships, and Finance. Our role is that of a facilitator, not a service provider—we connect you with verified, high-quality coaches. The actual coaching services are delivered by the coaches themselves.
This policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds related to coaching sessions booked through CoachGates.com.
✅ 1. Our Role as a Facilitator
CoachGates.com serves solely as a platform to connect users with independent coaches. We do not provide coaching services ourselves. The services rendered are the responsibility of the individual coaches. By booking a session, you acknowledge this distinction.
2. Cancellation Policy
a. User-Initiated Cancellations
Time of Cancellation Before Session Refund Eligibility
More than 24 hours before the session ✅ Full refund (minus payment gateway fee, if applicable)
6–24 hours before the session ⚠️ 50% refund
Less than 6 hours before the session ❌ No refund
Note: Rescheduling may be allowed once per session if requested at least 12 hours in advance. Final decision rests with the coach.
b. Coach-Initiated Cancellations
If a coach cancels a scheduled session:
✅ Full refund to the user.
✅ Option to reschedule the session at a mutually agreed time.
c. No-Show Policy
If the user does not attend the session: ❌ No refund.
If the coach does not attend the session: ✅ Full refund or reschedule.
3. Refund Policy
a. Eligibility
Refunds are applicable only when initiated as per the cancellation timelines above.
Users must request a refund via support@coachgates.com or the dashboard within 48 hours of the scheduled session.
b. Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 1-2 business days via the original payment method.
Any applicable payment gateway or transaction fees are non-refundable.
4. Quality Concerns or Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the session, you can raise a concern within 24 hours of the session.
We will review the case by:
Collecting inputs from both user and coach.
Analyzing the chat history and booking notes.
After review, we may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.
Note: CoachGates.com does not guarantee results from coaching sessions. The effectiveness of the session depends on many subjective factors including coach-client compatibility.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided for:
Sessions missed by the user without cancellation.
Incompatibility in coaching style or personal preferences.
Sessions partially completed.
Packages or subscriptions that are already partially consumed (unless otherwise specified).
6. Refunds for Group Sessions or Packages
Group Sessions: Follow the same cancellation deadlines.
Multi-Session Packages: Cancellations must be requested before the first session starts for a full refund.

8. Disclaimer
CoachGates.com acts solely as a technology platform and facilitator. The contractual obligation to deliver coaching lies between the coach and the user. However, we are committed to ensuring fairness and customer satisfaction and will assist in resolving disputes in good faith.
